Family Member Employment Events in July

The Foreign Service Institute (FSI) and the Family Liaison Office (FLO) have organized two special events in July for Foreign Service family members interested in private sector employment overseas.

The first event is a session of Employment Tools for Foreign Service Life (MQ 704) on July 10. This class will review resume writing, interviewing skills, networking, and maximizing an online profile.

Then, on July 12, family members can meet with private sector, multi-national and NGO employers who hire overseas. The Meet-Up with International Employers will be from 1-4 p.m.
Both events will be held at FSI in Arlington, VA.

To register for July 12 Meet-Up Event: Send your name, best summer contact email, and sponsoring employee name and agency to FLOAskEmployment@state.gov with “Meet Up Event” in the subject line.
